Korie Richardson

Korie Richardson born in New Orleans "the Crescent City" Louisiana, started her studies at the young age of 2 years old. Being a devoted student of dance at Welch Middle School her hard work and dedication landed her lead roles twice in the annual Nutcracker Ballet. She has trained and performed in several summer intensives as well as an attendee of The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Korie continued her studies in high school by attending The High School for the Performing and Visual Arts as a freshman; as of now she is a regional and national winner at American Dance and Drill Team Competition and  Crowd Pleasers in her previous high school years as a Dulles Doll. A rising senior in the 2015 class at John Foster Dulles High School, she was chosen by her peers as Captain of the Dulles Dolls Dance Team.  As a first year national competitor this past July in Las Vegas, she was awarded the NAACP ACT-SO Silver Medalist title. She plans to major in dance wherever her talents make take her.
